What Will I Get With My Home Inspection?

When your home inspection is completed, you will receive a complete, detailed, computer generated, printed copy of the inspectors report. Included on the cover page of your report is a full color print from a digital photo of your house the inspector will take at the time of the inspection. (Like the one seen above and to the left.) This report will list every detail of your home inspection, including, but not limited to:
  • Areas in need of repairs
Water Leak in the ceiling
  • The overall condition of the home

When you get a home inspection from us, we invite you to be present. Whether you are a first time buyer or experienced home owner, there is much to learn.

Where are cutoff valves for water or gas? Is there an attic fan? What type of electrical service is available and where is the main electrical panel? These questions and many more will be answered when you tour the home with your Northern Virginia Home Inspections representative.

We'll check the home inside and out, from top to bottom. Besides uncovering various features of the home, the condition of every aspect of the home is noted.

We'll report any major maintenance or repair expenses to be expected. We'll check for proper original construction, normal wear and neglect when we inspect such things as:
